Timothy Li
I am the fourth generation of Christians. I accepted Christ since childhood. In 1996, I was called by the Lord to enter the Central South Theological Seminary in China for training. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theology in 2002, and then served in Wuhan Thanksgiving Church (a church affiliated to the Central South Theological Seminary) until September 2023. While serving, I obtained a Master of Divinity from the Chinese Online Theological Seminary in 2018. I came to Canada in September 2023 and joined the Burnaby Chinese Evangelical Free Church in June 2024. I am currently a part-time Mandarin Ministry Pastor.
I am married and have a daughter studying at university. My wife, Rev. Lu Shujun, obtained a Master of Divinity from the Philippine Bible Seminary in 2014. She had taught in seminaries in China for many years and is currently studying for a Doctor of Ministry degree at Canadian Chinese School of Theology Vancouver.
